Three flights up, at the top of an old tenement. The windows face west over the rooftops towards Fife, and in June the sky barely goes dark.
It was our family home for ten years, and it still feels like one: books on the shelves, a fireplace, a table in the bay window for long breakfasts.

“We very much enjoyed our stay at Fiona's flat. Her communication was excellent, and as we were travelling with a toddler, we really appreciated that there were children's books and toys, along with the travel crib and high chair. Her recommendations in the area were also great. It was about a 30-minute walk to the Royal Mile with nearby bus options. Would definitely recommend staying.”

“Lovely apartment, great location-perfect for those who love to walk as well as those who use public transport! The bedsheets smelled super fresh and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for good communication and for hosting us, Fiona. Loved your book collection too. :) Highly recommended. Don't forget to get a pint at The Diggers, which is right around the corner ! ;)”

“Great location! And the flat was lovely, a nice place to come home to each day after exploring Edinburgh. It's very convenient to transit and is an easy walk to groceries, restaurants, and exploring the local neighborhood amenities. Very much enjoyed our visit and looking forward to our next trip! “Right where we wanted to be in Edinburgh- near bus line and walkable to many things. Made a couple meals in the kitchen and appreciated the extendable table. Cozy space after all the walking and exploring! We spent 4 nights and could have spent longer. Glad we found this!”

“We had a brilliant stay here! It's great value for the location and very well connected, bus stop across the road that takes you into the city and another one 3 mins walk away with even more buses that stop. Local highlights include the beautiful canal towpath for a walk or a run (trying heading towards the viaduct), Twelve Triangles bakery for the best sourdough ever, and Kuzina for amazing Greek food. The flat is spacious and bed and pillows are very comfortable, we slept very well. I really appreciated the yoga mat, which I found in the wardrobe! Was also handy to have iron and ironing board. Would stay again!”
